Yesterday was Valentines Day & campus was full of lovey dovey scene. Kip said it makes him puke. Kip is one buddy's new boy friend, also from law ...lol.. She was so mad & told me its an excuse not to get her a rose. Ha.... a single stalk of rose, every girl's dream. I took him aside & warn him, if he's not doing it, I'll get the rose, give to her & said it's from him! I'm not going to let my buddy be upset over such a minor thing. He said he'll deny it. I said that'll be over. He go "WHAT ????"
I am serious. My Buddy had announced 2 days ago, if there's nothing from him, it's over. He's too cheap! We all agreed. I told her, if there's no display of any affection, than she might as well move on. By noon, I saw him carrying a stalk of rose , heading towards our favorite place. My Buddy was all smiles & thank me for telling him off & giving him the ultimatum. I said "you are welcome " :))
And my favorite lovey dovey movie??? None other than Notting Hill with Julia Roberts. I'll never forget those lines:
"Don't forget - I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."
-I really don't know what's with this line it's simple but haunting......
Or was it the way she says it???? Damn Julia Roberts is good!!! Maybe because it's so "raw" & pure perhaps??? I've known of many people who were pretty affected by it!!! Incredible isn't it???
